Minecraft Dungeons II Loadout Planner
A slot checklist that matches the gamescom inventory, plus three sentences to build toward.
Open this page on a second screen while you stand in Brave Haven. It is a planner, not a calculator. Tick every slot. If a slot is empty, you are not “going fast.” You are underdressed. The gamescom inventory is the source: weapons, four armor tiles, three artifacts, three talismans, an Effects & Stats pane.
Print the grid, or copy it into a note:
The grid
| Slot | Equipped name | Power | Verb (dodge, pet, bomb, frost, souls…) | Capped at Blacksmith? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Melee | ||||
| Ranged | ||||
| Armor 1 | ||||
| Armor 2 | ||||
| Armor 3 | ||||
| Armor 4 | ||||
| Artifact Y | — | |||
| Artifact B | — | |||
| Artifact RB | — | |||
| Talisman 1 | ||||
| Talisman 2 | ||||
| Talisman 3 | ||||
| Book 1 | — | |||
| Book 2 | — |
Fill Verb in plain language. If two rows say “dodge” and nothing says “heal” or “pet,” you know why the Twisted Warden ate you. If no row says “souls” and you planned to live at the Enchantsmith, you know why you are poor.
Three sentences (pick one)
Copy a kit from starter builds, then force every row to serve it.
- Shoot and bomb. Ranged power is the highest number on the grid. Artifacts include a bomb and a selfish buff. Books include dodge or arrows-on-dodge. Destination: Copper Monstrosity.
- Pet and regen. A talisman row must say pet. A weapon or book row must say regen-on-kill. Melee is cave-friendly. Destination: Twisted Warden.
- Fat melee and drink. Melee hitbox is wide (hammer, tornado, staff). Artifacts are obvious. A guest can press them. Destination: couch co-op.
If your grid is serving two sentences, pick one before the minecart. Dual-purpose kits are how you arrive at a tower with a dagger and a sniper and none of the potions.
Town loop that makes the grid true
- Dump anything with a blank verb.
- Blacksmith the lowest Power cell until the hole closes. See smiths.
- Enchantsmith only the weapon whose verb matches the sentence.
- Open Effects and Enchantments and cross-check the list against the Verb column. The UI is a flattened truth serum.
- If a friend is joining, compare grids in Brave Haven so you are not four rangers.
Reading the public screenshot onto your grid
The gamescom still shows a level 20 hero, item power 27, four armor tiles, artifacts, talismans, and Twisted Tooth at +40% souls. That is a real row: Talisman → Twisted Tooth → 1 → souls → maybe. If you own that item, it belongs on sentence 1 or 2 only if you will actually stamp books tonight. Otherwise it is a stash item pretending to be a build.
Pets from Deluxe or pre-order occupy a row only if they fight. If they are follow-only cosmetics, they do not get a talisman cell. Do not let a chicken evict a dog that tanks booms. Pre-order explains which bird you paid for.
After launch
When coefficients exist, this planner will grow a numbers column. Until then, the honest tool is a grid and a sentence. If another site offers a slider that says your hammer does 12,443.7 DPS, they made up the .7.
When the grid is full and the sentence is true, go play. The planner is a town object. It is not a third boss.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many slots does a Minecraft Dungeons II loadout have?
One melee, one ranged, four armor, three artifacts, three talismans, plus Enchant Books on top. Match the gamescom inventory.
What should I write in the Verb column?
A short action: pet, dodge, bomb, frost, souls, regen. If you cannot name it, the item is fashion.
Do I need unique items to use this planner?
No. Cap whatever matches your sentence at the Blacksmith. Uniques are optional verbs, not a gate.
Where are example kits?
On the starter builds page. This planner is the blank form those kits fill in.
